Shop St. George Blvd Logo Utah

We’re thrilled to invite you to be part of this year’s “Haunt the Blvd” event, a Halloween celebration designed to bring the community together and drive foot traffic to your business!

Two Main Events:

1. Trick-or-Treating on Halloween, October 31st

2. Scavenger Hunt Begins October 28th-October 31st

Halloween Day Event:

  1. Trick-or-Treating Station: We invite you to offer candy or treats to trick-or-treaters as they visit your business. This simple gesture can attract families and potential customers to your doorstep.

  2.  Engage with an Activity (Optional): Make your business a must-visit spot by hosting a fun activity or game. Here are some suggestions:
  • Carnival Games: Set up a classic game like a ring toss or a Halloween-themed activity. Small prizes or extra treats for winners can create a memorable experience.
  • Mini Raffles: Host a raffle with a prize that aligns with your business. This could be a gift certificate, product sample, or a Halloween-themed gift basket. Participants could enter by leaving their contact information, helping you gather leads.
  • Photo Booth: Create a Halloween-themed photo booth. Offer to email the photos, providing another chance to collect email addresses.

What we are doing:

  1. Event Marketing: We’ll be handling the marketing for “Haunt the Blvd,” with the help of some other local sponsors ensuring that the event is widely promoted. Our efforts will drive significant attention to participating businesses, hopefully attracting a large turnout of local families.

  2. Graphics, Printouts, and Dedicated Web page: We’ll be creating professional graphics and printouts for each participating shop. Additionally, we will have a dedicated webpage for the “Haunt the Blvd” event where people can learn more about the event, find scavenger hunt clues, and stay updated on all activities. This webpage will serve as the central hub for event information, making it easy for participants to navigate and enjoy the full experience.

  3.  Group Chat:  We will be creating a Group Message on Instagram for all the businesses who are participating to give out important information and to keep everyone in the loop.

Exciting Scavenger Hunt for the “Haunt the Blvd” Event!

Begins October 28th – 31st
This is an optional event.

As part of this fun, community-driven event, each participating business will receive a 3D-printed pumpkin to hide in their shop for customers to find. Here’s how it works:

How the Scavenger Hunt Works:

1. Hide the Pumpkin:
Each participating business will receive a 3D-printed pumpkin. You’ll be in charge of hiding the pumpkin somewhere in your shop for customers to find. This is a great opportunity to get creative and hide it in a spot that encourages customers to explore your space!

2. Offer a Prize:
Once a customer finds the pumpkin, they win a prize! You can offer a coupon, a bounce-back coupon for Small Business Saturday, or a small item from your business. It’s entirely up to you! Customers will claim their prize, and then re-hide the pumpkin for the next participant.

3. Daily Prizes (Optional):
Want to draw even more customers to your business? Consider offering a daily prize in addition to the standard prize. This could be a larger giveaway or a special discount. You’re welcome to customize this however you’d like to help boost foot traffic.

4. Post Hints on Social Media:
We recommend using your social media accounts to post daily hints about where the pumpkin is hidden within your shop. Not only will this keep your followers engaged, but it will also attract more customers to your store. Be sure to tag us, and we’ll reshare your posts on our Instagram to increase visibility.

What We’re Doing:

  • We’ll be resharing your social media posts and hints on our official Instagram page, helping to promote your business to a larger audience.
  • We’ll also be creating promotional videos for the scavenger hunt, highlighting participating businesses and encouraging locals to get involved.

To ensure everything runs smoothly, here’s what we need from you:

1. Participation in the Halloween Day Event:

  • Are you participating on Halloween day itself?
We need to know if your business will be open and involved in the event on Halloween day. This will help us finalize the schedule and ensure we have an accurate list of participants.

2. Additional Activities:

  • Will you be hosting any extra activities on Halloween day?
This could include carnival games, special promotions, raffles, or anything else that will draw customers into your store. If you’re planning something extra, please let us know so we can help promote it!

3. Late Night Participation (Optional):

  • Would you be willing to stay open later on Halloween evening?
Some businesses have expressed interest in staying open later to accommodate more families. This isn’t mandatory, but we’d love to gauge how many businesses are open to the idea. Let us know if you’re considering staying open late.

4. Participation in the Scavenger Hunt:

  • Are you interested in being part of the scavenger hunt?
If yes, please confirm and let us know what prize you plan to offer when customers find the 3D-printed pumpkin in your store. This could be a coupon, a bounce-back offer for Small Business Saturday, or a small item from your shop.

5. Communication and Group Messaging:

  • After we gather this information, we will add you to a group message on Instagram to keep everyone updated on event details, share marketing materials, and answer any questions leading up to the event. This will also be a space for you to collaborate with other participating businesses.
